LPG Locator allows you to find filling stations in your locality selling Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG).
Many thousands of UK motorists take advantage of cheap, clean fuel in the form of LPG. Unfortunately however, it isnt always as abundantly available as petrol and diesel. This application solves that by providing you with a list, sorted by distance, of all the LPG stations within a user defined radius (5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 miles) of your current location. You can also decide whether to include the smaller independents, or just stick to the bigger name retailers.
Detailed information is provided for each filling station including the distance from your current location, full address, telephone number, opening hours and whether or not they take credit cards. There is also a link to the maps application to provide directions from your current location.
Please note :
* The results in the list are based on your current location which updates as you travel. This works excellently with the iPhone 3G and very well with the original iPhone. This application will not work with the iPod touch.
* The data included is the best publicly available, however the accuracy cannot be guaranteed, especially of the opening times and credit card acceptance. It is recommended that you call the retailer before making a trip.
* Data is only provided for the UK, excluding NI, IOM and the Channel Islands.
